Seeling a Car:
Selling a car can be a daunting task for someone not familiar with sales.
Follow the steps below to ensure you can sell a car efficiently and effectively.
1 Price Your Car correctly
Set a price for the car that is competitive. You don’t want to be the highest priced or the lowest priced. Make sure you have some room to negotiate, because who doesn’t want a deal
2. Provide them with the details
Once you have a customer who is interested provide them with as much details on the car as they are asking for. Do not provide them with details they are not interested in. No one wants to hear about tires if they don’t care. Talk about things that they have inquired about, nothing more nothing less.
3. Keep quiet and listen
Once the customer has listed to you about all the features that they are interested in just close your mouth and listen. Too many sales people keep talking and the next thing you know they have talked the customer out of buying the car. Listen and they will tell you what they want.
4. Make the process simple
Do as much as you can for the customer to make the complete purchase as simple as possible. No one wants to fill out unnecessary paperwork if someone can do it for them. You be the admin person and try to make the only thing the customer does is sign on the dotted line.
5. Delivery
Make sure the car is clean and ready for the customer to enjoy the new purchase. Ever had a toy or a gift that did not come with batteries it needed to work. Very disappointing. Make sure the car is clean, perfect working order and is ready to drive.
6. Follow up
After a week check with the customer to make sure the car is everything they thought it would be. Help them if they need help. They will buy another car soon, and hopefully they will be coming back to you because the experience was so good.
